Infiniti FX

Infiniti FXInfiniti FX is a mid-size luxury Crossover Sport Utility Vehicle (CUV). In creating the Infiniti FX, its designers sought what they called a cool fusion – the blending of a substantial, SUV lower body with the sleek, elegant upper body more reminiscent of a classic sports car or sports GT. The redesigned 2009 Infiniti FX was officially unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show on March 4, 2008. The new Infiniti FX will be offered as the Infiniti FX35 and Infiniti FX50. The Infiniti FX35 will be powered by the same 3.5 liter VQ-series V6 engine used in the G35 Sedan and will deliver an output of 303 hp (231 kW). The Infiniti FX50 will be powered by an all-new 5.0 liter V8 engine with an output of 390 hp (291 kW) and 369 lb•ft (500 N•m) torque. Exterior styling retains some of the current Bionic Cheetah look, while incorporating new cues exclusive to the Infiniti brand. The interior has been completely redesigned to bring the Infiniti FX up to the level of luxury currently found inside of the Infiniti EX35 Crossover.
